Swimming in Queen's Leisure Centre
Both swimming pools at Moorways Sports Complex and Queen's Leisure Centre offer a range of activities suitable for beginners, casual swimmers, families, children, and more serious swimmers. For more information on what's available, go to our swimming times and prices page.

Birthday parties
Hire our swimming pool, a lifeguard, toys and floats for a great birthday treat. We can also supply a party tea, balloons and banners.
Splash party prices:
- Standard: £56.20
- Junior passport: £47.95

Creche
Our creche looks after children from one-years-old until their fifth birthday. Children can be left for up to two hours and the parents/guardians must not leave the centre without their child.
The fully qualified staff provide fun, flexible and stimulating activities, and pay attention to each child. The creche is registered with Ofsted.
- Open: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 1.30pm, and Wednesdays from 9.15am to 1.30pm.
- Price: £1.65 each child for one hour.

Queen's Leisure Centre has:
- a ramped entry into the centre
- a hearing induction loop fitted at reception
- a Minicom
- a lift to all floors
- disabled people’s toilets in reception and changing areas in the Gala and Teaching Pool
- shallow steps into the Family and Teaching Pool, with a handrail
- pool hoists for all three swimming pools
- Equality range of gym equipment by Pulse Fitness
